Discovering My Love For Music

'Crazy Train' by Ozzy Osbourne, my first real heavy metal track I listened to. Hearing the timeless guitar riff coming from Randy Rhoads' Gibson Les Paul I was hypnotized. Well especially as I was about six years old when I first heard it. Jumping around my living room wondering 'How is he doing that?' Looking back now though I am still as captivated as I once was by that guitar riff. Enough rambling that was the starting point of me discovering my love for everything heavy metal.

Next I came across 'KISS', the American hard rock band formed in New York city 1973. Widely Known for their face paint and stage outfits but also for their absolutely fantastic stage show. KISS were the first band I ever sore Live (will recap this in a later blog post). Their huge hitting albums such as 'Destroyer', ' Alive' and 'Dressed To Kill' sent Rock n Roll fans into frenzy as nobody had heard music like it before. But I for one am a huge fan. Whenever I get the chance to play 'Fire house', 'Strutter' or 'Cold Gin' so loud my neighbors start enjoying the music I take it! Listening to Paul Stanley's incredible voice range just gets me lost in the music, which I love. Nothing better than just listening to an album played in full by one of your all time favourite bands.

Finally the last band that made me fully devoted hard rock and heavy metal fan was of course AC/DC (pause for all rock fans agreement). I believe if you're not an AC/DC fan you are not a true Rock enthusiast. Standing in a concert hall fall of rock 'n' roll fans waiting for a band to come on stage and hearing 'Back In Black' playing in the background through the speakers and seeing everyone all around me start nodding their heads to the music, makes me believe my statement is true. So what is it about AC/DC that I love so much? I'm not too sure? I just know if I was only allowed to listen to one song for the rest of my life it would be an AC/DC track because I can listen to their songs over and over again and never get bored. Unfortunately I haven't ever seen them live! I missed their 'Black Ice' tour but fingers crossed I will see them next year (Praying so hard!)

So that is the end of my first blog post, I sincerely hope you liked reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
One Last thing... 'If you were only allowed to listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?'
